Very nice, doesn’t very nasty in flavor, but it is a little flavorless. Clear in colour.

355 ml can. Light beer enjoyable under the sun. Smooth and goes down well. Seems to be very popular in Cuba.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2010 Bottle as Palma Cristal from Haus der 100 bier, Berlin. Hoppy grassy aroma. Pale yellow colour. Bright fresh dry slightly spicy flavour. Goes down really well. One of the best pale lagers I have had but obviously other raters don’t agree. Update - got another bottle from Peckhams, not quite as good as I initially thought - was really thirsty in Berlin. I have therefore docked it a couple of points but it is still a good lager.

A little flat on tap. Better tasting in can or bottle. A good beach beer. Reminds me of a light American lager which I like. The first bottle I bought cost me 40 cents. It was ice cold and on a very hot Caribbean day it was a perfect.

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, a bit moldy. Finish still mild with some grasy notes, not as moldy as the beginning. Okay.

350ml bottle served very cold. Not much aroma maybe a little hop note. Appearance is golden with a reducing head but there is good lacing on the glass. Taste is crisp and refreshing - this reminds me of a corona but with more taste, the bitterness is noticeable as you swallow. Nothing special but a bit better than your usual lager.

Bière blonde de type pale lager de 4.9% d’alcool, peu mousseuse, peu pétillante, mais bien amer. En canette dès notre arrivé à Cayo Santa-Maria, dans la bus et dans notre chambre.

Can purchased in Canada by a buddy of mine. Pours yellow/straw colored with a creamy white head. Smells of caramel, apples, some hoppy hints. Tastes sweet and earthy with some grass, straw, hay, pepper, touches of rice.
