doesnt deserve to be rated so low when other crappy beers are getting a higher rating. That said this beer is bad, tastes slightly burnt but inoffensive.

Bottle as park of 10 pack from World Market. While not awful, it is the worst of the bunch. Pretty bland - thin head, almost pungent aroma, bland flavor.

12oz bottle @ Allen Street Hardware, Buffalo NY. Drank out of bottle. Simple lager nothing real special.

Appearance :Handsome looking lager , golden crisp with large , bright white crown on top. Neat fine lace work on glass
Nose:Wet cardboard, slightly dusty and as well off grainy with gentle whiff of hops
Flavour/Palate: Medium light bodied. A bit harsh even bit acidic in character. Wet grain touch with hint of wheat bread. Light malty end. Half done job. Looks great rest is average at best.

Golden and looks reasonable. Hard to really say anything constructive about such a bland beer lacking any kind of personality. Very thin bod, slightly sweet and very boring.

Palma Louca 12 oz bottle Moderate pour in a shaker Recent brewing, absorbed 07/07 Poured a clear yellow with a moderate white fizzy quickly diminishing head. Smelt of moderate sweet corn. Taste was upfront moderate sweet corn (and cane sugar?) followed by more of the same with a light perfumey bitter hops presence on a short finish. Palate was light bodied, watery, and fizzy. Overall, this is a standard lager except you pay for the importing fees. Nothing fancy about the taste, but the label says exotic and different and classy. Contents are still crap (for 9.99 a sixer, anyways). The sweet aspect of it kind of reminded me of cane sugar. I wonder if they used it as priming sugar...

Yellow Color. Smell of corn, hops, malt, sugar and grains. Taste of corn, malt, sugar, copper and hops. Not my cup of tea!

UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 Bottle. I didn’t get much of a head at all. The color is clear yellow/gold; you can read the newspaper through it. It seemed slightly low on carbonation to me, which is pretty good (other pale lagers are too fizzy to me). Not much taste, though.
