2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Aurelius (3457) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2004
Light grainy aroma. Killer label and cap with a 1930’s Copacabana feel to it. Pale yellow, clear beer. Tangy, with some cardboard and grass. Medium-light hopping, very light sweetness. A light quinine bitterness is well done in the finish.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - MAY 1, 2004
I believe my first Brazilian beer. Not much taste to speak of, but so damn drinkable. Very quenching.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Indra (2483) - Overland Park, Kansas, USA - APR 22, 2004
Aroma is lightly crackery and herbal, some definite vegetative notes. Pale yellow color, very bubbly with a fine, slight head. Flavor is lightly grainy and bitter, some acidity on the palate that is quickly fizzed away, leaving nothing in its place. Aftertaste is odd...like very light amount of various fruit and vegetable juices were added. Body is light, palate is effervescent to a distracting extent. However, this beer was probably not meant to be analyzed to an in-depth degree, more likely simply meant to slake Brazilians' thirsts. Some of the flavors it possesses should be de-emphasized, though, in my opinion, to an even greater extent than it seems they already are in order to accomplish this goal. I sure am glad I didn't pay for this.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Aubrey (3347) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 21, 2004
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2005 Light golden with a bunch of little cobweb-looking floaties. Hardly any head. Sweet-smelling in a corny sort of way. Big-bubbled carbonation. Somewhat phenolic and medicinal, with notes of DMS. Rather herbal and fruity (passion/tropical). Light lemongrass. A bit of cardboard, too. Stale bitterness in the finish. Weakly bitter and/or tart in the finish.

Pale golden body and a minimal white. Aroma of honey nut cherrios and diacetyl. Buttery, citrus flavor. This is kind of gross.

Pale golden, highly carbonated, sticky white head. Very sweet nose, grainy, adjuncts. Sickeningly sweet. All grain, corn, adjuncts. Thin watery body, finishing sweeter and even more gross. YUCKO!
0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 BigBastard (668) - L.A., California, USA - APR 8, 2004
Very bitter, and not in a good, hoppy way. Had a rotten corn mash thing going on.

This is a below average beer in every respect. Terrible Pilsner! Opache color, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of grass. Taste has some malt sweetness, but is very light overall.
0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20 JPDIPSO (4956) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 17, 2004
Bright straw yellow color with a fluffy white head, really does not look that bad. Aroma reminds me of MartinT's exploding tractor comment, with burning rubber and malt, I'm no sure if there are any survivors. Now I am with ernest, WOW, is this bad, but, I do not think they were trying. Tastes like mushroom water with light tomato and rust background.
0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Ernest (5647) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - FEB 15, 2004
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain/cereal), with strong notes of solvent and DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Wow, it's amazing how bad beer can be if you really try. Sugary sweet corn concoction with an industrial/chemical aroma.
