Clear yellow with white head. Sweet maly arima. Just sweet and watery. Not something I will look for.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Waitrose. When I saw the scores for this beer, I couldn’t believe that Waitrose beer buyer would give it the time of day. It’s got some cardboard, in fact plenty of cardboard but also a bit of zingy lemon hop too. Not awful, put a pretty regular pale lager. Not awful. I drank the whole bottle.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
6 pack of 355s from B&M. Bottle from the bottle. Gold and slippery with a glycerol-on-cardboard vibe as the fizz dies- which is fast. Glue, boiled vegetables, weak grass nose. Some redeeming breadstick malt, or malt-aping adjunct on the palate; spoiling bicarbonate, aspirin. 5 swigs and dead. Had better.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear gold with a small white head.
Sour grain malt, lemon aroma.
Taste is watery, sour grain, a little citrus.
Probably tolerable from an icy cooler while beachside...otherwise, not so much.

355ml Bottle from Waitrose. Pale golden colour with minimal white diminishing head. Aroma is very light malt and just a touch of citrus. , and a very light touch of some malt and citrus. Taste more of the same, and a bit watery.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Waitrose. Served a bit too warm, about 9 celsius, whilst listening to some Choro. It has been a sunny day.
Aroma - predominantly onion and weed, hints of citrus and banana fritters.
Appearance - pale yellow, very clear, thick white head that lasts most of the way down.
Taste - Cherry, beaches (seaweed and sand), cinnamon, chlorine, soap, golden syrup, pine, vinegar, dusty old pubs.
Palate - slightly soapy but overall all smooth and soft.
Overall - reminds me of being on a beach in Honduras. The first sip after giving it a whiff was like’ wow, what does that remind me of?’ Not a connoisseur’s drink by any means but, a nice lager for relaxing with. The taste is reminiscent of the honduran beer and there are some strong flavours of seaside coming through. Quite a watery drink and very sweet, would be better colder and on a hot day. Not amazing but it’s a taste of Brazil, and I love Brazil.

355 ml bottle - Interesting aroma but very little to tell it apart from any other pilsner.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour with a thin white head, plenty of grass in the aroma, the taste is sweet and fruity with a short dry finish.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Yep, it’s pale, it’s lager, and not very interesting at all. Gets me a beer from Brazil though.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Waitrose. Honestly, all those beers out there and they put this on the shelves! It tastes of sweetener, and little else. Pants.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle from Waitrose Richmond, poured into a pilsner glass. Very pale yellow, clear, highly sparkling, small white head endures. Aroma - sweet caramel malts, a little bit of ashtray. Body is medium, spritzy and foamy. Taste is mostly water and tin. Overall, this is on the inoffensive and insipid side of the pale lager spectrum. Though I’d say it’s more suited to enjoying Brazilian sunshine than a British winter.
