Palmer Lake General Palmers Amber Lager

Draught @ Palmer Lake Brewing Company. This ber is not described as an altbier, or a "sticke" by the brewery and it represented the style tremendously well. Ruby color. Subtle, fruity, malty altbier tendencies in the nose. . Tastes of sugared fruits, with a hint of roast, caramel and toffee. Another exceptionally balanced smaller beer from Palmer Lake.

Pours dark nut brown with a very small tan head. Faint thin lacing. Mild malt aroma with a caramel nose. Small bitter malt flavor. Medium palate.

Copper hue. Smooth and malty. Little to offend in this common man’s amber beer.
