Nov 22, 2007 Had this beer on 4/23/2003. Aroma is very wine like. Color dark brown nice head. Taste is very good, lighter than most barley wines but still holds to the rich taste. This is by far the best beer Palmer Lake has ever made.

Mar 23, 2005 Draught @ Palmer Lake Brewing Company. Bright ruby color. Subtle, deep fruit-laden nose with hints of plums, cherries and marmalade along with a touch of caramel. Malt accented, yet still hoppy, with fruit and caramel flavors behind rows of grapefruit. Not bad.

Oct 12, 2004 Pours nut brown with a thin tan head and has small faint lacing. Caramel malt aroma with a fruity nose. Strong caramel malt flavor. Alcohol palate and dry; full-bodied.
