BrewDad (1553), Olympia, Washington, USA Sep 29, 2006 This was a brown ale with some Scottish flare. This could use more Co2 and the ber seemed watery. Actually most of there brews where watery. jcwattsrugger (3757), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2005 Scottish style brown ale-on tap-pours a tan head. Color is deep clear red. Aroma is grain, banana. Taste is sweet, grain and banana. Again little carbonation like their SP Belgian. 2.5
Crosling (1604), Loveland, Colorado, USA Mar 23, 2005 Draught @ Palmer Lake Brewing Company. Brown. Lovely nose of mulched browned red apple, banana, brown sugar and peanut butter. Flavor continues with mulched skins of browned red apples, banana peel, dark fruits, sweet malts and caramel. Rich and textured for its size. Sweet, nutty and smoky. A wonderful beer. Two thumbs up. BeerandBlues2 (2411), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Oct 12, 2004 Pours dark amber with a very thin tan head. Good lacing. Hop aroma with a brown sugar nose. Bitter hop flavor with roasted malt. Medium and a little watery palate. Braudog (3461), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 6, 2004 Dark brown. Super-sugary character, almost too much alcohol in the overall tone.
