Amber pour with a quarter-inch off-white head. malty nose with a surprising amount of hops. Flavor is dark and earthy malt, very hoppy but well-balanced. Decent enough amber ... fairly drinkable.

Oct 6, 2008 On tap at Crane’s Tavern (Hilton Head). Pours a clear amber, thin head that disappates quickly. Aroma is very subdued caramel and malt. Flavor is again malt and a touch of caramel, kind of thin, not much to it.

Aug 20, 2008 Looks a lot like an amber at pour. Has a hint of tangy dark chocolate flavor. Stronger body than most ambers especially with aftertaste.

Aug 5, 2008 Bottled: Had it overlooking the harbor but the beer was not near as good as the scenery. Poured an orange amber color and smelt of malt and some roast. But the taste of it tasted like burnt copper and I really did not enjoy it.

Jun 2, 2008 Very toasty for an amber but non the less it is a good brew. Clear amber to red color and nice malt hop balance. Would drink again as I do usually
