2008-05-01. Dark amber brown body, small white head. Odd aroma, strange grainy fruit notes. Light bitterness, grainy malt. Just a touch wonky somehow. Average palate. Worried at first that I had not adequately rinsed my glass but other samples were similar. Pretty meh. Bottle shared by Tupalev

Looks a lot like an amber at pour. Has a hint of tangy dark chocolate flavor. Stronger body than most ambers especially with aftertaste.

Bottled: Had it overlooking the harbor but the beer was not near as good as the scenery. Poured an orange amber color and smelt of malt and some roast. But the taste of it tasted like burnt copper and I really did not enjoy it.

Few bottles over the past few days in Charleston, SC. Nice flavor: malty, nutty, chocolate. Solid body. Definitely enjoyed.

Very toasty for an amber but non the less it is a good brew. Clear amber to red color and nice malt hop balance. Would drink again as I do usually

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc & tupalev - courtesy of tupalev. Amber body with a small head. Aroma is malty, a bit roasty with some mild caramel. Flavour is pleasant, with a good balance of toasted malt and floral hops. Like the other guys say, it’s a nice, easy drinking ale.
