| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 18, 2004 Deep amber ale with a small, wispy, off-white head. The nose is of sweat, jalapeno or habenero pepper and earth. The flavor is moderately bitter with a strong hop bite. Grass and straw or hay. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. This beer is just too bitter without any sense of purpose or complexity. Hopped up solely for the sake of being hopped up. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Very Nice APA!!! Hoppy, bitter, faint hint of sweet tea behind the potent hops. Smooth and very drinkable. Great beer, First beer of Ross’ shipment I think I chose a good one to start of with. If you haven’t had this beer, maybe you should. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Hazy orange color. decent hop nose, lightly citrusy with a touch of malt. Med/light body. Light malt and hop flavors, lightly toasty malts. Finish is dry. A quaffable brew. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2004 Orane-amber color with white head that fades quickly but leaves nice lace. Lovely hops aroma. Hints of the pine forest of the Carolinas. Moderate hops flavor-more citrusy, well balanced. Wish I'd discovered it sooner. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA
