3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks Matt for the beer: Orangy amber hue with good frothy light brown head and good lace. Aroma hinted of buttered toast, piney and floral hops, mild fruit and spice. The taste starts smooth and sweet with nice malt presense. The finish added a touch of pine and bitterness, hint of spice as well. Overall, this is a quaffable brew that you can drink two or three of in a session.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Copper colour with orange highlights and an off-white head. Nice aroma of hops, malt and even some nutmeg. Medium-bodied; Strong medicinal taste initially, followed by some malt and stale hops. Aftertaste has more astringent taste and a sort of hoppy ending. Overall, a good beer...needs some work though! I owe a large thanks to Mabdoney for this one...cheers Matt! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle on 02-November-2003.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rather slight aroma, some citrusy hop and honeyish sweetness. Light-medium amber color, unfiltered, with an uneven, creamy and lasting head. Toasty, sweet maltiness mingles with juicy, citric hoppiness, becoming bitter and faintly astringent. Light-medium body, plenty of carbonation. Pleasantly hoppy. Thanks, Matt!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This dark gold brew sports a bold citrusy aroma and flavor. It's got plenty of bitterness but there's enough malt for support.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
golden-amber in color. I would call this one a session pale, easy to drink, tastey, but not spectacular. Citric, spicy, hop aroma. Very crisp, almost peppery on the tongue. Sweet malts meshed well with more hoppiness. Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Light orange, clear, average head. Citric flavor with prominent oranges. Expectedly hoppy and crisp, a typical pale ale. Maltiness toward the finish, which somewhat clashes with the persisting effervescence. Decent.

I drank this beer on draft over a dozen times last week, and it was outstanding on every occasion. When in Charleston I bought a 6 pack of this bottled Pale Ale to bring home and share with others, but this is not the same beer that I had experienced on draft.???? ** The draft version is far more aromatic, very citric and flavorful with hops. Yet, this bottled version has little aroma, it is more malty, grain like, and nutty, however; it nails you with a burly hoppy finish, standard APA bitterness, maybe a bit more. The hops are still present, but not nearly as pronounced, or even as fresh and flavorful as the draft.???? This copper colored Pale Ale still has great lacing, a medium and smooth mouth-feel, and nice effervescence, it is actually becoming more like I remembered as it warms, but this beer still feels like a stranger?

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper color with small white head. Aromatic - mostly of citrus hops, but there is a nearly hidden sweet (caramel?) malt. Initial flavor is mostly a hoppy tang, but there is an element of subtle sweet maltiness. Has an overwhelming metallic aftertaste.

Color is a golden coppery yellow with a super even head of off-white and tight foam about a finger high and some of the tinyest spots of lace I've ever seen. Smells a bit musty with some citrusy orange coming through and breadish notes of pretzel, nice and medium soft on the nose. Taste is smooth of nice, somewhat chewy and sticky malt with a light balance of hop, quite mellow and very easy, the best part is the slight tang and drying quality near the end thats very subtle and pleasing. Good medium body and a very mild and light chewyness, very soft and pleasant for a pale. This is a pretty decent American Pale and possibly worth checking out, session beer for sure, damn easy drinkin' here.

Had a weak aroma - limited malt and hops smells - slightly stale. Maybe cause I had to wait for it to warm up in a frosted mug. Deep amber clear with small foamy white lacing head. Medium watery body and medium carb. Mellow malt flavor, not too sweet up front. Big hops gives nice bittering finish with a nice nutty bitter after. An OK APA.
