This hop flavor and aroma of the truly American cascade hop distinguishes this beer.

Hazy amber body with minimal white head. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet, toffee, grapefruit. Watery light-medium body. Not sure what others see in this beer, but this one did not appeal to me at all.

hopscotch (10265) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2004
Deep amber ale with a small, wispy, off-white head. The nose is of sweat, jalapeno or habenero pepper and earth. The flavor is moderately bitter with a strong hop bite. Grass and straw or hay. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. This beer is just too bitter without any sense of purpose or complexity. Hopped up solely for the sake of being hopped up.

Thin head. Taste is astringent. Not much hops either. Leaves a very unpleasent bitterness on the tongue.

Nice coloring and noticeable hopping make this a decent beer. However, it is a tad bit unoriginal in a croweded market for micro pale ales.

UPDATED: JUN 28, 2004 Thanks to the generosity of Ross Iím able to sample beer from a state I spent allot of time in when I was too young to consume it. Very Nice APA!!! Hoppy, bitter, faint hint of sweet tea behind the potent hops. Smooth and very drinkable. Great beer, First beer of Rossí shipment I think I chose a good one to start of with. If you havenít had this beer, maybe you should.

Medium sized offwhite head, good retention and minimal lace. Hazy orange color. decent hop nose, lightly citrusy with a touch of malt. Med/light body. Light malt and hop flavors, lightly toasty malts. Finish is dry. A quaffable brew. My thanks to Impreza.

Orane-amber color with white head that fades quickly but leaves nice lace. Lovely hops aroma. Hints of the pine forest of the Carolinas. Moderate hops flavor-more citrusy, well balanced. Wish I'd discovered it sooner.

A preety nice representation of a pale ale from Palmetto. Has the standard hoppiness with a nice finish as well.

Bottled. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. This one has very little flavor - I wish it had more hop flavor and some more malts so that it could remotely compete with Sierra Nevada. A good crisp pale.
