Bottle. Medium gold body with a fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing. Caramel, toasted grain aroma with a note of floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes ligtly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Tastes of bready malts with sweet caramel followed by bitter leaves. Medium body, velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Nice bitter bite at the end, but overall overly sweet.

Golden pour. Sort of fruity aroma. Kind of blah flavor. Some hops, some fruit, some cereal grains. Basically an average, unspectacular pale.

On tap at the Noisy Oyster in charleston, SC. Golden with little head and only slight lacing. Flavor was lightly malty with a nice hoppy bitter ending. Reminded me of Sierra Nevada with a bit more of a hop presence. Easy to drink in this humid weather.

From a 12 oz bottle - maybe this pale ale tasted so good because it was enjoyed while on vacation in the beautiful city of Charleston - aroma of citrus, malt, hops and pine. Taste was nice and hoppy (almost an IPA in my opinion) along with apricots, peach, pine and caramel sweetness. Lots of lacing. Very refreshing brew on a hot, humid day in S.C.

12oz bottle. I had a few of these at a friend’s wedding in Charleston last weekend; this current bottle is from Charleston Beer Exchange. Pours transparent amber, capped with a medium-sized off white head that fades gradually to a thin layer of bubbles. Aroma is primarily caramel, with notes of crystal malt, grapefruity hops, and some pepper. Flavor is bready and malty, with flowers, pine and grapefruit. Finish is a bit astringent.
