3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, itís just your typical malty hopless pale ale with a dry bittering finish. Falls into the sea of mediocracy.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, courtesy of - I think - ImperialJohn. Quite a hazy orange-deep amber pour, huge lasting fizzy white head. Only modestly hoppy aroma (more light resin and some dry herbalness) - lush cereal grain though, very nice (7+). Taste is pretty meh - less grain, some alcohol, a bit of metal .... ehh. Farly thick, somewhat undercarbonated, a little harsh in the finish - half decent, would have it on draught.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale orange pour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, grapefruit, a bit spicy. Clean finish with some nice citrus hop notes. Good bite. Nice beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Seems more English than American Pale Ale, with a lot of malt piling up on top of a piney, mildly citric finish. The malts are grainy and pretty nice, but more hops are needed on the finish to tighten up the brew. (2/08)

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a clear medium amber hue with a white head, good retention and good lace. Aroma had a typical caramel malt note and some hops. Flavor was nicely balanced and the finish was really smooth. Carbonation was just right. A great session ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle sampled at the Wreck on Mt. Pleasant, SC: pale gold with an ivory head and piney hop aroma. Nicely carbonated mouthfeel and solid hop profile. Perfect accompaniment to the fried shrimp and scallops.

Had this in a local bar in Mt Pleasant. Great local beer, would drink again, when in Rome...

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Citrusy aroma with a great bitter, hoppy finish. The color was super clear, contrary to an earlier comment. I got this beer on tap at Noisy Oyster in Charleston.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Color is reminiscent of a good ipa. Head diminishes quickly hops almost too pronounced for a pale ale. Would have given it a better rating as an ipa. Itís all in the name.... Sitting here in chas though so when in Rome...just a good beer- not great, not bad
