3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. This one has very little flavor - I wish it had more hop flavor and some more malts so that it could remotely compete with Sierra Nevada. A good crisp pale.

Recieved in a trade. Pours a dark gold amber color with a thick white head that leaves good lacing. Smells of dough and light hops. Tastes the same as it smells. Mouthfeel is light and this beer goes down easy. Overall this is an average pale ale, the only thing that stood out was the head and lacing, very mediocre other than that.

A preety nice representation of a pale ale from Palmetto. Has the standard hoppiness with a nice finish as well.

Not a bad little brew. Subtle but pleasant aroma of hops and citrus fruitiness. Flavor has just a touch of bitter hops. Sweet aftertaste. I can dig it.

This is an average beer that is light in appearance and decent in overall palate. Nice balance.

Pours hazy copper with a thin, white head. Grassy aromas but not strong. Typical pale ale taste, and drinkable. Not a bad offering, but also nothing too memorable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
If I’m not mistaken this is my first South Carolina microbrew. Not too shabby really. So-so hop character. But not a bad ale overall.

A very decent APA. Drank from a bottle at the NAC in Columbia. Hoppy, orange in color, and crisp. Very nice for out on the balcony with some new friends.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hmm not a bad American pale ale but I didn't enjoy this as much as Palmetto's other offerings I've sampled. From a fresh bottle, pours a slightly hazy orange copper appearance, good frothy head. Malt and mango citrus hops on the nose. Taste is some malt but primarily subdued earthy yet fruity pacific hoppy notes- grapefruit stickiness in the finish. Hoppiness is pleasantly solid, pairs well with meat and potatoes. Could have a better body to it, the palate struck me as unpleasantly thin and slick. Flavor intensity could be stronger too, malty contrast is weak. Just a decent craft beer.

Head was an off white orangy color with a nice taste, better then most Pale Ales. Very Hoppy and Dry, like any other Pale Ale. The mouthfeel is quite viscusy. This beer was good for an every day beer, but no mastery brew. The palate fell quite on the thin side for me.
