Bottle. Cherry-apple and hops aroma. Copper color with small head. Sweet cherry malt flavor initially with a moderate bitter hops finish. Nothing unpleasant but pretty much an average micro - Not unlike SNPA.

hopscotch (10601) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 18, 2004
Deep amber ale with a small, wispy, off-white head. The nose is of sweat, jalapeno or habenero pepper and earth. The flavor is moderately bitter with a strong hop bite. Grass and straw or hay. Medium-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. This beer is just too bitter without any sense of purpose or complexity. Hopped up solely for the sake of being hopped up.

12 oz bottle. (The Greenville Beer Exchange) Greenville, SC.
Hazy mid-brown colour with a small off-white head. Sweet fruity hops and strong sweetish malt in the aroma. The flavour is sweet floral and fruit tea like hops, mild butterness and strong maltiness. A malty APA.

12 oz. bottle from shrubber85- thanks again, Roger! Pours a clear gold with an inch of white head. Notes of corn, straw, sugar, grass, and pale malts. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation. Malty mouthfeel, but simultaneously light and clean. Meh.

KyotoLefty (9295) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 17, 2009
Dark amber, little head. Malt dominates nose, lots of caramel and some dark fruits. Little hop aroma or flavor, malt dominates flavor as well. Lots of caramel, rather sweet, dark fruits. Strong hop bitterness kicks in, especially in the finish, very bitter, though little aroma. Interesting, sweet and rich, almost chewy pa.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet fruity hoppy with a good citric kick. The flavour is citrus, caramel, biscuits, peaches and sweet light toasted malt. Nice. Thanks karstenborg for sharing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ernest (7317) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - SEP 10, 2015
Draft at Palmetto, May 2015. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A rather caustic, raw grapefruit-resin bomb.

Florence, South Carolina, Red Bone Alley Restaurant, 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, little to no head - slight white lacing though. Odd, artificial aroma - that is not unpleasant - reminds me of some kind of jelly-like candy you get around Christmas for a fund raiser. Flavor is muddled and artificial and has hints of apricots and peaches and a touch of citrus - sticky - in an artificial way. Thick enough. Only thing the bartender could find that was "local" when I asked - took him a while to find it and was not sure what to charge me for it - he guessed at $1.50. Worth that - this one has suffered a bit from shelf life me thinks - rating gives it the benefit of the doubt. Will rerate upon encountering again.
