Bottle on 5/7/14. Pours a hazy golden/amber with a minimal off-white head. Nose is cascade hops, grapefruit, citrus, ripe fruit almost like candy, gummy bears. Taste is sweet fruit, citrus, malt, grass. Overall pretty good, liking the fruit that comes through but not amazing.

Bottle pours translucent golden, small white frothy head, spotty lacing, with mild carbonation.   Grain/cereal nose, not much hop in there.   Dirty up front, quite grainy, blech.   Body and mouthfeel are medium, bordering on the watery side.   At least if its not going to be very hoppy, it does have a nice malt backbone.   Finish is a bit astringent.   Only a mild bitterness on the tip of the tongue exists.   NEXT!

I enjoyed this beer a great deal. Had a bottle of it with some sushi at sunami in Charleston. Suprisingly smooth and refreshing. A reccommendable bear for any pale ale fan.

Florence, South Carolina, Red Bone Alley Restaurant, 12 oz bottle. Medium copper pour, little to no head - slight white lacing though. Odd, artificial aroma - that is not unpleasant - reminds me of some kind of jelly-like candy you get around Christmas for a fund raiser. Flavor is muddled and artificial and has hints of apricots and peaches and a touch of citrus - sticky - in an artificial way. Thick enough. Only thing the bartender could find that was "local" when I asked - took him a while to find it and was not sure what to charge me for it - he guessed at $1.50. Worth that - this one has suffered a bit from shelf life me thinks - rating gives it the benefit of the doubt. Will rerate upon encountering again.

Received one in a trade with JB and my brother brought one back from Myrtle Beach for me that someone left in his fridge. I had it at a party and it was not really cold. Aroma of hops, deep flavor of hops. Too many hops for me.

12 oz. bottle at Mellow Mushroom, Charleston, SC. Pours a hazy amber with a thin off-white head that disappeared after the first sip. Very light, indescript aroma. Hard to pick anything specific. Flavor is typical for a pale ale with malt followed by some moderate hops bitterness towards the finish.

This just wasn’t that good. Nothing special. Mediocre at best. A pale ale without much good to say.

Dark gold color. Clear. Light head but good lace. Mostly malty aroma; lots of caramel malt flavor. The flavor has a modest hop spice that lasts through the swallow. Neutral body and carbonation.
