Wow. A solide porter. Pours out a very deep brown color with a small tan head. aroma is full of choco, and roasted malt. Flavor was smooth as silk. had a nice choco roast flavor with a slight bitterness in the finish. i was really impressed with this on.

Aug 18, 2008 Brown pour, cream colored head. Basic roast malty nose. Rather light bodied, some mocha roasted malts, biscuit. Pretty clean finish. No nice lingerings. Not bad, but a bit underwhelming.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottled: Brought back when I was home, but sadly not very good. Pours a brown color with a red tint. Tastes of faint roasted malt that is faint and a little watered down.

Aug 14, 2008 Bottle, from charleston. Pours a dark brown with a thin almost no head. Aroma is a sweet malt and chocolate smell. Flavor is thin malty and boring, nothing special here.

Jul 1, 2008 Look id dark brown to black in color with a decent beige colored head. Smell is roasty, coffee, and toasty. Taste is much the same as the smell. Dark and roasty.
