A very nice coconut porter. A little less sweet then the Maui Brewing, but more coconut and coffee. Pours a thick black with a nice light tan head. Smells great, of coconut. Taste is creamy, has coconut upfront, followed by some coffee and a lightly buttered finish, with some vanilla ice cream. Had in the bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Chocolate and cream/nut aroma. Black black color... in my pint glass. *big up Barrington* Cream tan pillow head. Tastes nutty and a bit coffee in there. Really good but I donít reallt taste the coconut. I was kinda looking forward to that.

This beer is not retired. I had it today in Mountain View (near Palo Alto). Keg at friends place. Good dark robust porter hint of coconut. Overall good.

Bomber Bottle. Poured black/brown. Chocolate roasty nose with coconute, taste or roast malt, nice finish, not a bad porter. Not great.

Sampled at the Rose and Crown. A really great porter. The coconut and bourbon tastes are both thorough and do not mask each other. It is very crisp and tasty. Fantastically done.

Draft at Rose and Crown in mid July 2009. A dark brown beer with a red shine under a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt combined with notes of coconuts and hints of something burnt. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of coconuts, as well as light notes of roasted malt and chocolate.

On tap at Rose & Crown. Black in color with no head. Appears somewhat viscous for a porter. Nice aroma of coconut, roast, and caramel. Smells fairly sweet. Roasted and caramel malt on the flavor, along with coffee, chocolate, and loads of coconut. The coconut is a bit intense, but overall the flavor is not bad. Mouthfeel is smooth and slick with almost no carbonation. The mouthfeel is fairly similar to Lost Abbey Angels Share 2009, except not as viscous and boozy. Drinkability is less than average. Coconut becomes a little overwhelming and the carbonation is a bit low.
