COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The female demon Onoskelis is a woman with a beautiful form and the legs of an ass who lives in a cave, perverting men and killing at will. Our Onoskelis is an Engligh-style barley wine that pours a deep ruby color. The aroma is an aggressive mix of caramel, brown sugar and citrus hops. The flavor profile is complex and well-balanced with caramel and red-apple notes blending with tangerine and citrus hop dimensions. At 13% ABV, the alcoholic is very well hidden, making Onoskelis surprisingly drinkable--a demon with beautiful form indeed!

Bottle shared at the RBESG ’14, Grander Tasting @ Moncada, 09/08/14. Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is sweet, light spice, caramel, dark fruits. Taste comprises malty tones, spice, caramel, light booze. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light booze. So so barley wine, hides the 13% well but ultimately fails to deliver on it.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours lightly hazy orange-amber with a small white head. The nose is massive sweetnesss.... toffee, ginger bread, honey, butterscotch etc. The taste is also very sweet...sickly, brown sugar, toffee, honey, spice, booze, mild astringency, old wood and dirt with a sweet finish. Full body and low carbonation. Massively sweet and hot. No good.

Big creamy offwhite head. Clear reddish brown body. Earthy fruity meaty aroma with perfumy toffee notes. Hmmmm. Strange. Sweetish-dry resiny caramelly toffee taste with spicy notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish resiny earthy toffee aftertaste with perfumy spicy rye notes. Nice, drinkable, not really very special. (0.65l bottle, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen.)

Unbalanced beer. Decent aroma with some strange after smell. Not much of a taste. No complex. Some hints of hops. But besides from that not much of a taste. Kind of flat.
