Draught@Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is tart wood, some floral notes, mild brett as well as some slight coconut to it. Flavour is tart wood, coconut, some chocolate, mild coffee as well as some wooden sourness. Not that typical porter...

Draught @ Beer Temple. Aroma has roastiness and tartish berry juice. Also quite evident vinegar on some sips. Flavour has tart vinegar tones, red wine and mild chocolate tones. Also balsamico. Finishes with milk chocolate. Too much oud bruin and too low on chocolate for my taste. Interesting combination though, I must say; these two seem to match somehow.

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - almost black beer with a decent head retention; aroma of coconut and cacao, light roasted; quite full-bodied and decently sourish, fairly carbonated and with a long sour aftertaste of cacao, vanilla and coconut

Aroma is of a typical porter. Appearance is of a typical porter. Taste makes one qiestion wether theres anything wrong with the beer. Not bad, but unlike any other porter.

On draft at Mission Liquors in Fremont. It pours dark brown with an off white head. Lots of cocoa, toast and nuts. The flavor is roasted and nutty with some dark chocolate cake. Light bodied with a dirty, roasted finish. Decent brew. Not as good as the Barely Legal.
