Bottle from Bytemesis pro buono what a guy!! Awesome name for a beer and cool bottle near concept too, Belgian citra IPA.. I’m having a hard time finding that citra goodness though its actually got a sweet flavor no tropical hits.. Could be my fault I had this in the fridge for a month

Bottle. First, let me say that this is a pretty cool name for a beer. Then, I must say that, in general I have not been excited by Palo Alto beers. Thus I approach this with some trepidation. It pours a cloudy amber with floaties and a small creamy off-white head that dissipates with decent, not nice, lacing. Oh oh. Aroma is very typical of the style, belgian yeast with a bit of citrus, biscuit, honey. Flavor is about the same, very lightly sweet, yeast and citrus dominate, a bit earthy. Actually quite nice. Good job, PA!

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and light earth aroma with light spice, light malt, andlight citrus. Caramel and yeast flavor with light citrus. Medium bodied. Sweet malt and caramel lingers with yeast and light earth.

Bottle from City Beer. Pours golden with a nicely laced off-white head and a citrus and toffee aroma. There is a tasty caramel malt flavor with a definite Belgian yeast presence, notably some banana ester, and a bitter hoppy finish. A nice collaboration.

Bottle from City Beer. Pours hazy copper with a 3 finger off-white head. Aroma of citrus and soft light pitted fruit with some caramel notes. Full bodied (til the carb leaves). It’s citrous, Belgian yeast/spice (tho not getting banana ester), and quite decently bitter. It does lace a bit. It is indeed quite smooth, and it does finish bitter and dry. It’s a very nice beer, it is.
