Hazy yellow color with a big white head that keeps a nice lacing. Aroma is sweet and hoppy with some citrus and pepper. Flavor is like aroma but a little bit more spicy with smoked notes, probably because the Juniper berries that Iíve just read about. Low to medium carbonationa and medium to full body with a hoppy finish. Good one!

They call it very drinkable.... it isnít really. Tastes mostly like the liquid you get with sourcraut, with extra juniper for spices. Very bitter with just a hint of the citra. Nice attempt, but this just isnít it, especially not for the high price I paid for it at Bertís Bierhuis in Utrecht (Ä 3.35)

Just a waste of time. A bit of medicine with some leaves and a bit of smoke. Absolutely not to recommend.

Bottle from Douberd - many thanks! The beer pours out in a cloudy, dirty amber colour with very low head and thin body. Aroma of honey and straw. Taste of grains, dust, honey, straw and basement. Finishes off like medicine - very nasty and unpleasant.

(Drinking date: 14th January 2014) Nice golden colour, it is a bit murky (is that even a word? haha) of the yeast. It has a thick layer of foam, but that foam reduces quickly to a small layer. In the nose you have a really delicious smell of the lemons, it makes it a really delicious, fresh smell. You also smell the delicious hops. Besides that, you also smell some sweet berries, in this case the juniper berries. The taste begins sweet with the freshness of the lemons, and then the sweetness of the juniper berries. When you swallowed the beer, you have a really long, bitter aftertaste of the hop bitternes, and I personally donít like that that much. The mouthfeel is really nice, it is really light and fresh, and as the label on the bottle already said, it is a beer you can keep drinking on and on. The carbonation is also very pleasant. Not too much, not too little. So overall I really enjoyed this beer, and it will be enjoyed best on a hot summerís day.
