Till skillnad från andra citronöl jag druckit i Kroatien är den här alldeles för sur. Likaså känns inte själva ölen i den här drycken, så i slutändan är det mer en citronjuice.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2011 ~01/07. 0.5 l can. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Grapefruit and fresh lemon juice aroma. Bitterish flavor, grapefruit, lemony, without too much sugar, thus refreshing. Medium body, strong carbonation. Finishes lemony bitter with inevitable beer at this point, slightly dry in combination. I vote for sharing the throne of best radler currently on Croatian market, fulfilling its purpose.

Bottle. Yellow color. Strong lemon aroma. Refreshing. Lemon notes in flavor, but beer tones can also feel. Not bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
One of the best radlers in Croatia if not the best one. Not too much industrial taste as the others (although obviously is). Lemon aroma is quite nicely integrated with small beer part. Lighter aroma overall. Refreshing and of course very drinkable. Aftertaste is quite lemony and very tiny bitterish. Bit hazy, pale yellow body. Medium-low carbonated.

Bottled 500ml. -So fat the best Croatian radler but not much. Hazy lemony coloured, minimal white head, fresh acidic lemony nose (pretty nice). Refreshing acidic lemony/lime taste but pretty much without any beer character. In general refreshing.

It was only to be expected that Carlsberg Croatia would want a bite of the currently exploding radler market in Croatia (more people are drinking them in cafes outside than beer!). So they released this, and though it was on the market at least a week after the wheat, it came to the bigger stores sooner (figures). Anyway, this poured a misty pale milky yellow body, very lightly fizzy, with a small head that went away fast. Strong nose, distinct lime. The taste, however, is a nice surprise, bitterish lime/lemon, entering Schweppes territory. Not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be. I’m not drinking it perfectly cold, but this seems more drinkable than the other two. Well well well. Another plus for the company that was not long ago a good example of how unimaginative/ordinary Croatian breweries are. A damn good radler.
