2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a fan of this beer. Very sour, and no real hoppy goodness that I expect from an IPA. Blah.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is one weak sister of an IPA. Virtually no hop profile at all...lightly citric bitterness on top of a weak tea biscuity-type of malt sweetness. This beer is radically middle of the road, extremely average, and incomperably just like everyone else. Other than that, no problem. Thanks be to Cornfield.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours with a faint haze to an orangish body under a small, white head. Aroma of lemons and oranges with breadcrusts and light pepper... fairly weak in the hop department and my first guess is that this is one of them there "English-style" IPAs. Dry palate, well-suited to the bitterness which follows, grapefruit and pepper with a balance of caramel and a bit of the biscuity malt I half-expected. Once youíre invested, this could be drinkable in mass quantities.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This pours a pale orange body with lazily drifting bubbles and a modest white head. Not bad in the lacing department. It smells of tart oranges, tangerines, caramel, and a drop of grapefruit. The flavor is a sweet caramel with a touch of citric bitterness. The label claims this to be "A fully-laden India Pale Ale," (?) but this seems more akin to an APA.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle acquired in trade with ughsmash (thanks!). Poured a medium and slightly hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of oranges, lemons, caramel, and got some vegetable. Tastes of caramel and citrus. Started of sugary sweet and ended in a lighter grapefruit finish. Thinner body.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
I picked this up as a 12oz single, and it seems a lot of Sand Creek/Harbor City beers are popping up in my area these days. This beer looked great, but was otherwise very unimpressive.
It poured out of the bottle a very pretty hazy orange with a perfect amount of what appeared to be velvety-smooth head.
But it smelled like very little; the faintest hint of hops. And the taste was also confusing; the label had led me to believe that this was a very hoppy ale (calling itself a "fully laden India Pale Ale"), but I did not find this to be the case. The flavor is some of hop bitter, but I also get some sourness and a good bit of pepper that doesnít seem like it belongs.
Mouthfeel was OK, but I did not find this beer to be very drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
orange amber color. Smell of hops, malt, orange peals, and slight grass/pine. Taste of malt, light citrus, malt, orange zest, hops, honey, appricots and another fruit that I know but cant think of what it is. Nice bitterness at the end. Good IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber to light copper colored liquid. Taller, bleached bone colored head. Some small fine lace. A fruity granola bar sort-of aroma. Grains of oats and toasted malt mix with some peaches, grapefruit zest. Lots of sweet toasted grain in the front, with a mild balance of un-ripe fruit bitterness. A odd sort of mix with raspberries, rhubarb, grapefruit pith and burnt grain. Quite dry and bitter inthe finish. Interesting and somewhat traditional, but the bitterness in the linger is really getting to me.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours to a nice orange body with a thin off-white head and nice lacing. The aroma is very rich with fruits. Apricots, pineapple, frozen fruit cocktail like my mom used to make. Something that Iíve smelled before but I canít pinpoint. Perhaps sweetened rhubarb or pommegranate. All blended together, it reminds me of something I like. The flavor unfortunately wasnít up to par. Really toasty bitter bread. IPA? I donít think so. Strange not fitting bitter palate. Something seems off.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle from the Woodmans on Gammon Road in Madison, WI (August 2006) consumed at cellar temperature from a Corsendonk glass. Dark amber-gold with a thin off-white quick-fading head and a trace of lacing....apricot, caramel and blood orange well-mixed in the nose, with warmth whiffs of anise and cherry wood arise....mellow, very well-balanced on the tongue, acidic fruits and bready light sour malts, a pleasant understated resinous character, only lightly bitter at the front ranging to strongly so at the finish...faint metallic hints compromise things somewhat, but overall this is quite solid.
