2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle from the singles section at the Spirits on 9. Poured a good looking light golden orange body underneath a huge dense bright white foamy head. Aroma is earthy, sweet with caramel and grain, celery, some grassy hopes. Palate is fizzy with carbonation and a medium body and an aftertaste that has a touch hop bitterness towards the very end. Flavor started off pretty nice with caramel, grains, cereal, grassy hops but then as it warmed mroe earth came about and an odd vanilla/plasticy aftertaste kicks in. If you are going to drink this make sure you finsh it while itís still fairly cold.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle to pint. Looks good; a slightly hazy orange with white head. Smells and tastes malty for an IPA with a bitter hop profile. Average on the palate. An underwhelming IPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours yellow / gold with a large white head. It looks like a pils to me. The aroma is biscuity with light toast and a hint of hops. The body is medium, crisp and sharp with lots of carbonation. The flavor starts with toasty malt and harsh hoppiness with traits of earth, pine, dirt and dry grapefruit. The finish has the brutal harsh hops and some metallic traits. Good, but a bit rough.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/24/11
Aroma: The nose has some floral and citrus hops with some light bread/toast notes
Appearance: Basically clear (just a slight haze) golden color with a foamy white head and good lace
Flavor: The flavor is quite hoppy with a good amount of citrus/pine/flowers and some toasty malts
Palate: Fairly tingly on the mouth, with lively carbonation, a light (toward med) body and a crisp finish
This is pretty solid brew. Itís almost like a Blonde IPA, at least that was my first impression, so thatís what Iím going to call it. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. It has a pretty good look, an alright flavor and nose, and a decent palate. I do have one knock on it, which is that it is a touch on the soapy side, but not so much that it drastically hurts this brew. Iíd drink it again.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is citrus, yeast, bread and hops. The flavor is grapefruit-like hops, malts and and a moderately dry, bitter finish. The flavor all kind of muddled together, it was decent but the flavor profile could have been better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from Sicilianoís Market in Grand Rapids, MI. Pours a clear, golden-yellow colored body with a finger-width, dense and foamy, rocky, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grainy pale malts with a light sweetness and a light, soapy citrus hopping. Pleasant lemon-grass, flowers, and cereal grains. Flavor is similar. Lots of lemon-straw up front with plenty of floral citruses. Some pale malts with a light grainy sweetness balance the hops nicely. A light pear comes in at the end as the citruses and grassy hops grow into the finish where this is dry and moderately bitter. A touch of bread comes out as well as plenty of straw hops and citruses in a lengthy aftertaste. Light-medium, crisp body and a moderate carbonation. No hint of alcohol and very easy drinking. Overall, a really tasty IPA. Lots of floral and straw hops with plenty of citruses and a lighter, crisp pale malt to balance. I think some of the earlier reviews should revisit this beer. Its better than the current average.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle - Pours copper with a one finger head and an aroma of hops with grapefruit and orange notes. Thereís some good bitterness with citrus notes and ample balancing malts. Itís sweeter than many IPAs, perhaps too sweet. Good effort.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Slightly hazy yellow color with a whipped eggwhite head. Sweet orange rind nose that dissappated fairly quickly. Some caramel sweetness, thin tea and old grapefruit rinds. Water seems actually to be a flavor in here. Not a very interesting IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours a cloudy light orange. Aroma of sweet fruits and citrus hops. Flavor is sweet upfront with bitter hops in the finish. Light on the hops, I thought, but I enjoyed it nonetheless! Good IPA.
