COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Quickchange XPA is all about putting a big hop engine on a stripped down malt chassis. The delicate colour in the glass barely seems enough to support all those Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra alpha oils with their mango, guava, pineapple and lychee characters, but one sip should clear that misapprehension up.

I though that although this looks great and pours well, has terrific aroma and initial bitterness and decent finish that this did lack a bit int he middle, some body that would really punch this out. As it is it’s a bit monotone.

Fantastic aroma of pineapple, passionfruit & citrus, but a very thin beer with a surprisingly hollow and bitter taste. My wife, who has probably drunk 100mls of beer in her life, loved the aroma, and even took a taste. We both felt a bit ripped off.

Quite nice but something is missing from this beer. Seems to have a flat spot in the middle of the palate ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tasty and quafable. Definitely tropical fruit on the nose. Light body, easy to drink and seasonable, especially for a beer with this much hp aroma.

Bottle from Beer Cellar online Store (April 2014). Clear gold/amber, off white head, pungent mango, pineapple, passionfruit aromas and flavours, grassy hops, medium sugary sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, bitter finish a bit "hollow", just lacks a bit of body to be a truly exceptional beer (but that’s the style I suppose). Excellent.

On tap at Galbaith’s pours golden with fizzled white head. Aroma is of pine nut and herbs. Slightly bitter, easy drinking, well-rounded session beer.

What a beer! Not what I was expecting. The aroma is tropical fruit and it is much the same on the tongue! Had straight from the bottle so unsure of colour but the hop bitterness lingers and intensifies as the brew gets warmer. Highly under rated and definitely would recommend to any pale fan!

Bottle. Clear, golden, minimal head, white foam, lightly bitter, medium sweetness, light body, thin feel, lively, & abrupt finish.

APA? I think more a pilsner . Overly Grassy, hoppy overpowering taste, if you expect a Pale Ale in your glass! Grassy all the way down. Please rename this as a pilsner, as I had been drinking nice PA’s up until tasting this none too inviting grassy ’Pale Ale’.
