APA? I think more a pilsner . Overly Grassy, hoppy overpowering taste, if you expect a Pale Ale in your glass! Grassy all the way down. Please rename this as a pilsner, as I had been drinking nice PA’s up until tasting this none too inviting grassy ’Pale Ale’.

Bottle from The Wine Emporium 260814. A bit disappointing compared to their other beers I have tried. Looks a little flat in the glass but the flavour is not too bad.

Pours pale amber with a large white head.
Nose shows honey, floral and grassy hops, cereal grains. Quite vibrant.
Very similar flavours with more sweet honeya and cerali-like malt before some floral hops enter followed by an assertive bitterness.
Carbonation seems a bit full on.

Super nose of passionfruit, citrus and mango. Really jumps out of the glass. Refreshing, clean and pure.

Big passion fruit aroma with resin, grass and pine. Silky mouth feel with a big punch of bitterness upfront. The bitterness mellows with some caramel malt sweetness. Good beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Mane Liquor. I would say this is more an English style rather than American. A nice hop profile to it but it isn’t in your face or over the top. Mildly grassy with loads of sweet tropical hints while the biscuit backing supplies balance. Drinks well

Bottle from mane liquor. Loving this brewery's work another solid pale. Citrus and pine on the nose. Taste is clean - nice pine hop bitterness and a slight hint of caramel malts. Balanced and sessionable. Good stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Fruity aroma. Pale clear complexion with thin lacing. If you?re looking for a complex and challenging pale ale, this is not it. The stripped down malt reduces the complexity but allows the lovely citrus and fruity hops to shine. Low level bitterness; a lot like a pilsner or lager. Minimal aftertaste. Light refreshing fruity and tasty. Great session drink for a slice of summer in the wintertime!

Plenty of complex fresh hop aroma, smooth full hop dominated taste with little residual bitterness.
