Burgundy beauty with an inviting, sour-sweet nose. Lively carbonation, but with a complexly smooth underbody. Cheek-cringing sourness was perfecto. Lesser notes of wood and aged earth. Slight acidity didn’t bother my gums at all. A little sweetness shouldered a bunch of sourness that continued to elicit my interest well into the bottle. Faint horseblanket was nice but I yearned for more. Nice and quenchy; well made; very flavorful; and tremendously enjoyable to drink.

Sep 1, 2008 Bottle: Hazy yellow/red colour, with a thin almost no head at all. Aroma is sour, citrus,flowery. Flavor is sour, and citric,thin to medium body, long sour/citrus finish.

Aug 31, 2008 750ml bottle, 2006 version. Thanks to Immy for this one. Pours clear reddish in color with thin white head. Aroma sour fruit and vinegar. Taste sour fruit, sweet tart and yeasty with dry finish.

Aug 18, 2008 A mild sour ale with subtle flavors of vinegar, sweet fruit, and oak. Thin and watery. There are more flavorful offerings out there, and this one did not live up to its price tag (15$).

Aug 18, 2008 750ml Bottle: Sour aroma of fruit, acid, and wood. Poured amber/brown in color with a large, fizzy, creamy, beige head that lasted throughout. Hazy. Sparkling. Full of tiny particles. Sour flavor. Tastes of fruit, oak, cherries, vinegar, and acid. Medium body. Slightly watery, chalky texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sour, oak and cherry finish.
