Dark brown red pour with a very bubbly and noisy head. Scent filled the room upon opening and only got stronger on the pour. Boozy, herby. clove and maybe cinnamon aroma. Very strong taste. Mix of sweet and sour with a very tart kick. Somewhat boozy, which is something I do not mind at all. Has some wine like character. The tart bitterness reminds me a bit of a lambic. Rather enjoy this one, best beer I have had in quite a while.

750ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy light brown with a creamy thin biege head. Aroma is a light sour (was expecting a regular belgian ale) with some yeast and cherry. Carbonated in the mouth, mild sour with some sweetness, finish becomes more sour along the sides of the mouth and gently fades. Enjoyed this much more then I was expecting - will have to pick up a few more bottles - think they would be great in the summer.

Bottled, bought at Panil. Drank before the sour version. Cloudy murky brown color, huge frothy off-white head. Dusty aroma, fruity, hint of red wine, hint of oak wood, caramel malty. Bit nutty. Bit dryish in taste, hint of wood and fruit. Decent stuff.

Bottled, thanks to caesar for sharing. Brown colored, big head. Dusty nose, spices and malts. Malty and spicy flavor. Soft and easy, nice brew.

Dark reddish-brown with sour earthy wood and cherry aromas. Lots of dark fruit flavors at first followed by some oak and malt vinegar. Dry, sour funky finish.
