3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 MichaelLawrie (51) - Toronto, Ontario, - MAR 22, 2012A great sour ale. It drinks like a good champagne with up-front cidery tartness. It is incredibly drinkable and refreshing, which is a problem given its relative cost and alcohol content.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BMMillsy (681) - Florida, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Batch #16, 2012, Bottle #2161. Pours dark purple-brownish red from the bottle. Small bit of cream colored head. aroma of sour cherries, blackberries. Big heavy mouthfeel with very little carbonation. Lots of fruit up front with a good tart punch and dry oak finish. Cheery, blackberries, and grapes. Not sure I like the big body on this and tend to enjoy more effervescent sours. Not bad, but I could do without it as well.

Awesome. Pours a brownish rust color with a reddish hue and an off-white head. Aroma is sour, apple, oak, and "aged" funk. Taste is sour, apple, raisin, rum, and other beer aroma similar to the ones found in the "brett" varieties. Palate: plenty of carbonation adds to the complexity and bitterness. Finishes dry and aromatic, nice!

Pours a hazy reddish-brown nice head and little lacing. Fruity aroma of sour cherries with pleasant sourness, a tiny bit of oak. Taste is fruity, cherries, abit of berries, some lacto, little caramel sweetness (really just a bit), oak, vinious presence. Medium-low mouthfeel with good carbonation. Very surprised by this one. I might buy a few more next time i go to ontario.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 thebhoy (55) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 26, 2013
Bottle from the LCBO. Just getting into sour beers and I quite enjoyed this one. Lots of vinegar upfront--initially I thought too much vinegar for my tastes, but it smoothed out. Enjoyed the bitterness, the sourness, and the array of fruits underneath the initial bite. A complex beer, for sure, but at 14$ I might only grab it once more (at least for this year)!
