3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Veer (362) - Landskrona, - JUL 14, 2008Aroma: sour, pear, lemon, hops (acrid, soapy), strawberry.
Flavour: very sour, wheaty, musty in a weird old-leathery way, leaves. Rotten fruit...
Palate: sandy, acrid, very weird...
Appearance: ugly sand yellow. Totally turbid with some bizarre white foam.

Smak och doft av jäst, gröna äpplen, vitt vin, gräs och örter och toner av aprikos. Frisk och syrlig.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 tommann (1992) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2013
375ml bottle. Pours gold with no head. Aroma is sweat, cheese and lemonade. Taste has lots of lemon, flat lemonade and mild cheese in the lightly sour finish.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Countbeer (2852) - Best of Eindhoven ohne Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 13, 2013
Bottle:
Lively, medium sized, white sparkling head, disappears within 10 seconds.
Leaves a headless clear yellow colored beer with some slight tints of orange.
The aroma is strange: champagne, apple juice, nail polish remover, hint of sulphur and yeast with a touch of something light light hoppy.
Flavour is a mix of yeast, hint of apple juice, chalky cellar, something nasty like nasty malts, strange yeast, alcoholic, light sour and this all causes an unbalanced mix... There’s some more strange things but these prio aroma’s and flavours make or break a beer, this one is on the edge of break!
Aftertaste has quite some nasty malts and yeast, with some bitterness, dust and light sour cellar notes.
Medium to fuller carbo, soft but sparkling mouthfeel, medium body and a thick watery mouthfeel.
The last part of this bottle is full hazy to murky an does taste a tiny bit better. Still strange though.
There is something strange with this beer, something alcoholic while it is only 5,5%ABV. But than again, with such low ABV it is quite remarkable that it’s close to champagne.
This is something different than a Belgium Lambic!
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 snzcujo (274) - RUSSIA - FEB 13, 2013
Tasted ftom the bottle, on 13/02/2013.
Pours hazy yellowish with almost no head.
Aroma is awesome, very intense, funky, tart berries and a bit biscuity.
Taste is just incredible, tasty wild&funky mix, slightly better than Barrique, in my personal opinion.

Thanks to Tytoanderso for this. Pale yellow pour. Short lived fizzy white head. Aroma is corky, papery & white grapes. Flavor yields much less oxidation than the aroma but, its still there.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TURDFERGUSON (3565) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - JAN 14, 2013
2007 bottle shared by Ucusty. Opaqueish orange with no head, very little carbonation--as expected. Nose is lactic funk, light lemon, paper and cardboard. Flavor has some fruity tartness, followed by more paper and a woody corkiness that pervades the palate. Sadly this seems like its spent. Still psyched to try. Thanks Dave!

Bottle @ THE Sour and Saison Tasting. Cheers, Leighton! The pour’s deep gold with a small white head. The aroma’s of light barnyard yeast, some golden apple, sweet white grape. Strong aromas of earthy funk, chopped wood. The taste is more sweet golden delicious apple. Plenty of lactic funk, dust. There’s also some sickly sweet peach syrup on the finish. The body’s light. Nice, light carbonation. Overall, a somewhat awkward composition of flavors. Decent, but not a favorite!
