3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
2013-01-31. Hazy pastel body with a massive foamy head. 3++ Aroma is lightly funky, and mildly yeasty. 7++ Flavour is lightly tangy, pale malt throughout, lightly biscuity. Average bodied palate, good carbonation Quite drinkable. Very enjoyable but as an import the price is a bit much for what it is. Bottle shared by HogTownHarry

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(eternal gusher) pours hazy, almost cloudy, pale yellow with a tall abnormal white head, good retention and strong lacing. yeast-plenty - unmistakable champagne yeast, dry woodsiness, spiciness - cardamom, coriander, herbal-grassiness, wheat, some lemons, honeyed and sweetish maltiness, slightly minty and dusty. hint of tartness- mostly from abnormal carbonic acid level. lively to average carbonation, light to medium body - oily and silky, sweet yeasty and herbal-grassy finish. interesting.. but that’s about it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Quite the beer. Pours cloudy, dirty brown-orange with decent head and lace. Aroma has some florals, light bretta and some apricot and citrus. A good interpretation by panil. Soft carbonation. Finishes a little sweet with some tangy sourness. Good all around. Bottle from LCBO.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
[Bottle (330ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry] Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with a huge lasting fluffy white head. Like everyone else mentioned, this was a gusher. Aroma is yeasty, citrusy and herbal along with some sweetenss and grassy hops. Nice flavour, yeasty, fruity and herbal along with grassy hops and light spices. Medium bodied. It gets better and better the more you drink it, good stuff.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Massive gusher initially (a huge pet peeve of mine). Pours a hazy golden colour with a thick sticky white head. The nose is softly vineous with a soft tartness and a bit of funk. Very light lemon notes but generally clean. A touch of malt sweetness and a touch of grapey character as well. Dry and flinty with a bit of tropical pineapple. Lightly fruity with a bit of light vanilla and some soft woodiness. Tastes more intense than the subtlety of the aroma suggests. Really well integrated and very very tasty.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
January 31, 2014 - with blankboy, gregclow, jercraigs & mabel. My 750ml bottle. Gusher!!! Hazy light yellow-gold, huge lasting fluffy white head. Bone dry aroma of pressed flowers, lemon - the yeast character is there, my nose hairs are curling - some alcohol too. Taste ... less funk, less dryness - still some lemon, just a simple slightly tart Belgian golden. Decent body, strong carbonation, quick finishing - it’s less dry and much fruitier tasting than the aroma - a bit of a disconnect between taste and aroma, but quite pleasant.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
750 ml bottle from LCBO, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. BIG GUSHER. Lost over half of the bottle.
App.: Murky deep golden with a large, fluffy, off-white head.
Aroma: Lots of citrus, tart apples, some nasty organic acids, a little metallic, slightly spicy, dirty yeast, not very appealing.
Palate: Medium body, very full effervescence.
Flav.: Dirty apple juice, yeast, tart fruits, a bit of citrus, more yeast, slightly metallic organic acids, not very nice; dry with gentle bitterness and a not-unpleasant malty/honey and yeasty finish.
This is not enhanced enough. Keep trying.
