Bottle. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Citrus, caramel, spice and sweet malt. The flavour is light hoppy with notes of spice, citrus and sweet caramel. Long sweet finish.

4th June 2010. Bottle. Clear gold beer. Good white head. Made with champagne yeast. Dry palate. Light and frothy. Sweetish malt clean and fresh. Light tropical fruit and banana tones. Finishes crisp and dry. Lovely!

750ml bottle, at the opening of the bottle an other gushing esperience, hazy blondu hue, with a fluffy white head, yeasty, bretty, funky, musty, sweet fruity ripe apple nose and with some zesty grapefruit, lemon, starfruit esters, with some honeyed pale, toasted malt notes with an acidic, faint tart aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, mild funky, bretty, sour green apple skin, acidic, citusy, honeyish pale, toasty malt character with some candied lemon, grapefruit peel flavors, with a hint of kind of corny sweetness, and a faint flowery hop leafiness leading towards a light bretty, woody, sweet acidic, milky lactic, lemony, lingering hop bitterness finish.

In short: A truly original belgian blonde ale with a bit a everything.
How: Bottle 750ml (fancy looking original bottle). Consumed when about 1 year of age
The look: A medium white head over a cloudy blonde body with lots of particles
In long: A gusher. Nose is yeasty, some fruity esters and a lot of meringue. Taste is surprising dry, I really didn’t expect that with the nose. Lots of dusty yeast, floury white bread, lemon skin, light-medium acidity, dry wheat/straw flavour, some dried oranges, some white grapes with its associated sourness, lots of dry grassy hops. Finish is very very dry, a tad acidic and a tad sour. No alcohol presence whatsoever. Lovely big lively foamy mouthfeel. A semi-wild Saison-like sensation that I cannot put into words. This really is an original brew, some will love, others won’t. At first I really loved it, had I rated it after my first glass it would have been over 4.0. But the more I drank it the more the light annoying white grapes/vinous sourness was coming through and at the end of my bottle I thought it was “just” very good. I don’t understand the low scores on this one, I thought this was pretty good and rather original. Very much underrated. I don’t know what those other reviewers drank but it sure wasn’t the same beer I had. At least not the same bottle from my fridge. And they certainly did not drink it with me in my living room. And absolutely positively while we were butt naked and covering ourselves with whip cream, fruit jam and green olives. I hate green olives.

Green bottle, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savoured on my mom’s birthday 2009; eye: geyser out of the bottle, even after pouring in two glasses, foam is still coming out of the bottle, I had to stick a knife in the mouth of the bottle to “cut” the bubbles!, golden, hazy, suspended matter, no effervescence, voluminous champagne-style white head that eventually collapses to a tiny sheet, light lacing; nose: yeast, light horse, light fruity, light citrusy, light acidity; mouth: yeast, light horse, light orange, light citrusy, light acidity, apple, somewhat-dry fruity finale with a light acidity, medium-light body, slick, refreshing; overall: fine FRANÇAIS Bouteille verte, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savourée le jour de la fête de ma mère 2009; œil : geyser hors de la bouteille, même vidée dans deux verres, la mousse continue de sortir de la bouteille, j’ai même dû mettre un couteau dans le goulot pour « couper » les bulles!, dorée, trouble, matière en suspension, pas d’effervescence, mousse blanche style champagne abondante qui éventuellement tombe et se transforme en une petite couverture, légère dentelle; nez : levure, léger cheval, léger fruité, léger citrique, légère acidité; bouche : levure, léger cheval, léger orange, léger citrique, légère acidité, pomme, finale fruitée et un peu sèche avec une légère acidité, corps moyen-léger, plutôt carbonatée, coulante, rafraîchissante; en résumé : bien

Bottle thanks to Boutip. Cloudty pale yellow with a huge foamy white head. Good retention and average lacing This one poured out of the bottled as soon as it was opened. Aroma is very corny with malt and as stated by Boutip, fruit esters. Flavor was very similar to the aroma with a lot of corn, weird esters, some fruits and a slight touch of hops. Full body. Seeing other reviews, I would be curious to try another bottle.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy pale beige color ale with a super large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of corn is pretty heavy with some weird ester. Taste is also reminiscent of corn though I would guess no actual corn was used with some weird ester and a fruity finish. Body was full with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. This one is very hard to categorize and while the taste is very different then most beers I know I am not sure I would venture to drink this very often.
