[ASPETTO] color oro scuro, con riflessi aranciati, opaca, senza residuo [SCHIUMA] color bianca, (troppo) abbondante, fine e buona persistenza [ OLFATTO ] media intensità, spiccano profumi di lievito, affiancati da un fruttato che ricorda marmellata di frutta gialla, un accenno di malto (crosta di pane) con assonanze simile ad una birra di frumento; sul fondo si percepisce anche qualche nota alcolica. [GUSTO] buona intensità, abbanstanza complesso, con un leggero dolce iniziale, subito corrotto da una certa acidità fruttale, che ricorda frutta acerba e che da , mischiandosi con discrete note alcoliche finali , una sensazione quasi vinosa. Finale quasi terroso, con retrogusto che si porta dietro una certa acidulità persistente, sensazione minerale. [TEXTURE] corpo medio-basso, piuttosto morbida ma rimane una sensazione generalmente watery. Carbonazione elevata: schiuma strabordante e quasi incotrollabile e i primi sorsi sono quasi compromessi da un pizzicore intenso. Percezione alcolica media, ben dosata. [COMMENTO FINALE] personalmente il mio concetto di birra ambrata è tutt’altro, comunque, a parte sofismi di colore, si propone come una ale fruttata, fresca e con una acidità evidente che si ferma appena in tempo per non cadere del mondo delle sour ale. I lieviti ricordano il mondo belga e si presenta ben fatta, pulita e piuttosto dinamica nella sua evoluzione. Una pecca: la eccessiva schiuma che rende quasi impossibile riempire il bicchiere in una sola volta e iniziale carbonazione che blocca la percezione dei sapori.

La birra si presenta bene, bel colore ambrato e schiuma persistente. Al naso frutta e canditi. In bocca beverina e dolciastra. Molto beverina comunque.

Clear pale amber with a medium white head. Grassy hops in the aroma along with malt and fruity hints. Flavour was fruity with malt and hoppy notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Bottled, bought at Panil. Hazy amber color, huge frothy head. Slight spicy aroma, bit fruity. Hint of grassy hop. Bit sweet, bit bitter, hint of tartness.

Bottled, thanks caesar for sharing. Hazy dark golden/amber colored, big white head, lots of carbonation. Fruity nose, hops. Full malty flavored, some hops shining through, more bitter towards the end. Very refreshing. Excellent thirst quencher.

Cloudy amber with a lasting white head. Arom a of fruits, berries and herbs. Dry with a somewhat odd fruity and yeasty flavour

A hazy amber ale with a thick creamy off white head. A sweet aroma of caramel malt with signs of oxidation. In mouth, sweet malt with light lemon notes, creamy mouthfeel, light oxidation, medium bodied. Tasted June 19, 2010. Bieropholie import, BB Dec 2007.

Olive bottle, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savoured on my birth day 2010; eye: golden with an orangey hue, hazy, suspended matter, no effervescence, white head that turns into a tiny creamy sheet, light lacing; nose: malt, light hops, light honey, slight yeast; mouth: malt, light hops, light honey, slight yeast, finale in honey with presence of malt, medium body, average carbonation, lightly sweet, sticky texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Bouteille olive, 75 cl, via Importations Privées Bièropholie (merci Hughes!), savourée à ma fête 2010; œil : dorée avec une teinte orangée, voilée, matière en suspension, pas d’effervescence, mousse blanche qui se transforme en une petite couche crémeuse, légère dentelle; nez : malt, léger houblon, léger miel, très léger levure; bouche : malt, léger houblon, léger miel, très léger levure, finale en miel avec présence de malt, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : correct
