3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A golden orange coloured beer with. Frothy, but weak white head. A light fruity hop aroma, orange and possibly grapefruit, this is followed by a mild biscuity malt aroma bringing a caramel element through. Dry mouthfeel. A tart hop taste to start, zesty citrus fruit and a grassy, green hop flavour. This is followed by a mild malt flavour, biscuity, caramel and cereal, making a well balanced flavour. The finish is a little dominated by the tart hop flavour.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear golden with a white head. Smell is of grapefruit I think? Taste is pretty bitter, wasn’t expecting it from a golden ale, nice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pored this one into a English pint like its it is a nice cloudy golden color with a one finger head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is floral with a little spice. It’s flavour is true to an IPA very distinctive hoppy and bitter and good. It flows across the palate smooth with a slight carbonation. Overall it is a very well balanced beer that I give a seal of approval.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cask conditioned handpump Ribs Of Beef Norwich 21/08/12. A golden beer with a whitish head. A slightly tart golden ale. An attempt at citrussy hopping which doesn’t quite work. Turns out a bit harsh and not entirely satisfying.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle at home on 19 June 2011, best before 1 February 2012. Clear, clean gold appearance. Lively condition. Some citrus in the aroma. More of the same in the flavour. Quite zesty mouthfeel. Maybe doesn’t quite capture the freshness of the cask but it’s a pleasantly refreshing, easy-drinking, quaffer.
