Very beaten up 330ml can found in the back of a tiny store in Mrauk U, Myanmar. God knows how long it had been sitting there. Poured an extremely thick oily back with thin beige head. Minimal carbonation. Aroma of tar, molasses, licorice and prunes. Taste was of overwhelmingly thick, dark fruits. Not terrible but I think my can was well past its best.

From can, pours deep black with a dark red see through color and a nice thick beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, and coffee. Flavors of strong roasted malts, coffee, herbs and water. Lightly bitter and smooth. Light finish of wood, grass and water. Not bad but still light body for a stout.

Can shared by faroeviking at tasting in the pavilion. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is alcohol, leather, coffee and burnt caramel. It has a sour like and "sharp" taste with notes of coffee and liquorice. Finishes okay with a liquorice-coffee after taste.

Lata, thanks a lot Budi and Demi! Deep dark brown colour, beige head, small. Roasty cheap coffee, burned caramel, leather, something spiced like aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Burned roasty acid like cheap coffee bit spiced flavour. Light bitterness. Strange.

Can. Dark brown body with a creamy light tan head. The aroma is light burned malt, caramel, alcohol and light chocolate. The flavour is quite fruity, light roasted, bit acidic with some chocolate.

Pitch black, light brown head. Dark chocolate, burnt raisins, molasses and a touch of butterscotch in the nose. Yum. Thin mouth, with notes of dark chocolate, butterscotch and baked cake. Lingering butterscotch finish, but lacks bitterness that could make this beer great.

Had this from a can in Singapore a month ago, and I just dug out my crinkled up rating of it. Tinny alcohol is all I smelled before letting the fizzy brown head effervesce away, then there is earthy coffee and caramel. Syrupy mouthfeel (alcohol) with flavours of coffee, chocolate-caramel, and ash. The alcohol is really harsh in the finish, and overall this comes off as poorly integrated and difficult to finish. On the other hand, getting to drink it while sitting in the National Botanic Gardens of Singapore really helps!
