On tap at Papago. Poured deep brown with a short, tight-bubbled tan head. The aroma picked up sweet coffee and milk chocolates with a light, complementary coconut husk accent.. really nice. The flavor found more meaty coconut along with sweet coffee and chocolates.. finished sweet with great coconut usage. Very smooth on the palate.. like its base beer, excellent stuff!

On tap @ Papago in AZ. Very dark brown, opaque, low brown head. Aroma is very appetizing, with equally prominent coffee, vanilla, and coconut. Velvety smooth, softly sweet, with flavours that mirror the aroma. Excellent balance, delicious.

Draft at brewery. Pours black with a brown head that dissipates to a wisp. Aroma of dark chocolate and fruity ale esters. Lighter side of full bodied with a slick texture. Flavor of dark roasted malts, bakers chocolate, and english hops. Average attenuation, but I was hoping for more coconut. However, I do know that that flavor fades quickly. Maybe next time

Poured up on tap at the brewpub with deep dark body and thin tan head. This stuff smells great! I get fudge brownie, some soft dark roasted malts and coffee all mixing together harmoniously. The taste is sessionably thin but dead on for a Porter with rich dark roasted malts mixed with coffee and a pleasing level of fudge brownie goodness. Tasty brew.

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center Denver 18/09/2010 Coconut aroma. White head. Black a little rich on the palate and strong in alcohol with a hint of dryness in a bitter coconut and roast finish.

Tap. Rating #28. Dark black with a nice brown head. Light roasted aroma, sweet chocolate, real nice. Flavor is roasty and sweet, more chocolate and a very nice creamy finish. Good shit. (1528)

On tap at Papago. Pours a dark brown color, almost black with a medium white head. A nice aroma of heavy chocolates and coffee. A very nice flavor; milky (from coconut?), coffee, light roast, sweet vanilla and chocolates. Very good.
