hellbilly (912), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Mar 15, 2008 got this from the tap the day it was released. apparently it’s got belgian yeast and was wet hopped... hazy gold color with a lasting fluffy white head and lots of lacing. belgian like aroma( from the yeast?), grassy hops and some citrus. the flavor is down right awful... pungent grass and herbs, no malt sweetness, just harsh and bitter. no words can describe how bad it hurts. this is not good beer... the staff wouldn’t charge for it...6/3/2/3/2=1.5
second time around. i’ve been told it’s ’fixed’. same color. appears a bit viscous. aromas of belgian yeast, mango cream, earthiness and some resinous hops. the flavor is strange... not as drastically bitter or disgusting but not necessarily good. yeast, some malted sweetness, resin earwaxy bitterness from the hops and some citrus. bitter aftertaste. creamy mouth feel. 6/3/4/3/5=2.1 Bockyhorsey (2033), Mesa, Arizona, USA Mar 4, 2008 Tap @ Papago. Medium citrus aroma to this one. Cloudy golden body with white head and plenty of lacing left on the pint glass. Flavor had a dry citrus peel at first. Finished with a sugary citus juice flavor. This went from an ordinary IPA to a good one for me.
