Interessant bier.

Deep hazy honey and bronzed coloured body with a thinnish, relatively fast-dying tan head, about a centimetre tall. Bottle sort of exploded a bit when opened, at age ~17months. Aroma of honey, yeast, corn, alcohol, caramel, toffee, light fruits and a nice rich malt note - pungent and nice. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep malty and caramel sweetness up front with a strong yeast and deep curacao flavour showing on the tail end - strong, but showing nicely. Aftertaste has a robust complexity with the sweetness primary and the rich maltiness and yeast pungency right behind. Overall, a nice belgie with some solid flavours and a deep full-flavoured finish. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from Delices et Caprices in Bruxelles, Belgium on 19-August-2013 for Ä2,20 sampled at home in Washington, two days before leaving to head back to Belgium for more beer!

This is a blond sweet beer with a taste of bananas. This sweet flavor hides the strong 8 % alcohol content of the beer. It is a slightly hazy beer. There is a little spiciness in the beer, but it is not to bitter. A strong body.

Bottle shared at Gainsbar - Kortrijk, Belgium. Pours lightly hazy, yellow-gold, quite effervescent with a thick, creamy white head. Lots of yeasty dough in the nose with notes of sugar fruits. Hugely sweet flavor with plenty of sugary white bread, dough, hay. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with more sugary, doughy white bread, fruits, white sugar, hay. Very sweet but OK overall.

330ml bottle from Vanuxeem. Pours hazy blond with decent white head. Beautifully sweet aroma with hints of vanilla. Taste is just incredible. Beautifully smooth with a soothing sweetness & good tripel notes. Very nicely blended with very minimal bitterness or spice. I could happily polish off a 75cl bottle of this.

Beer from a hobby brewer from Diksmuide, commercialized through Deca. Sticky, snow white head, misty golden blond colour. Very fruity aroma, exotic fruits, apricot, pear, strawberry, rosewater, sherry, hay, whisky. Soft, apply, fruity taste, medium carbo, bready malt base, sourish touch, yeasty with mild grassy hop bitterness in the finish (fresh hop cones apparently having been used). Enjoyable.
