330ml bottle (Bierkompass.de)
6 On pouring, smells very yeasty, in the glass, it’s quite sharp and almost sour. Behind that there’s some sweetness and a hint of dark sticky fruit
3 Pale orange, small tight head.
7 Very spicy and liquoricy in the mouth, with some of the sharp hints towards sourness still there but no actual sourness.
3 Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Plenty of hoppy bitterness that leaves quite a tingle. However, there’s also a bit of kidney and gravy finish, alas.
13 Quite imposing bitter strong ale, has a lot of potential, but showing a few flaws.
