2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
From a brown 12oz bottle - Pours a ugly fairly cloudy pale with a slight head and very low carbonation. Smells of mild hops with just a tad of a malt presence. First sip is sweet not very hoppy. Finishes slightly bitter There is nothing here to write home about.. Decent mouthfeel but under carbonated. A very poor showing for an IPA!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
It pours a clear light-copper color with a small head but some sticky lacing.
The smell is of butterscotch and some bitter hops.
Taste is of bitter hops, not sweet or citrusy.
Overall, a good pale ale. The powerful and bitter hops give it a slight different taste than other IPAs.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma is straight juniper, quite a bit like a gin and tonic with some light fruitiness in the background. Flavor is a little bland and cardboard-y but not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bitter floral aroma. Clear orange color with a medium white head. Light and refreshing beginning with a moderate hop bitterness ending.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
I was surprised, but I rather liked this. Then I checked the reviews and was even more surprised. I still liked it. Nose of caramel malts and hops. Clear to slightly hazy orange beer with small head and great lacing. Caramel malts and British hops ... imagine an IPA that does not taste like it started somewhere between San Diego and Seattle. Good creamy British pub mouthfeel as well. Plus, it has a good finish and it’s not crazy strong.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pours a burnt amber with almost no head. The aroma was citrus and apples. Taste had a bit of a bite and was somewhat fruity. It was an ok brew.

on tap-pours a big foamy off white head and gold/copper color. Aroma is nice citrus lemon/grapefruit hops. Taste is citrus lemon/grapefruit-slight bitter hops, secondary light malt.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Color is a orange/gold that is very clear. Supports about one finger of off white foam. Aromas are sweet... floral hops, a bit of sweet malt and some grass. Flavor is a little thin, but very nice for a simple IPA. There is a bit of the pine/resin hops presence that I find so enjoyable, and, while I’d like it a bit stronger, it balances nicely against the malt presence and finishes with a nice little bitter twang.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a foggy amber brown with little head. Syrup malt nose with wafts of dry hops. Bitter, hop flavor with a slight metallic bittering finish. It is definitely somewhere in between both worlds.

3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Orange-brown pour. I had this on he same day as a 3 Floyds Imperial Dreadnaught - this is definitely the poor man’s version of that beer. Faint fruity aroma... Taste is citrus and a bit oily. Non-offensive IPA, but earns the name.
