Jan 10, 2004 Medium beige head atop a hazy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet floral, orange. Taste is earthy, floral, light orange, not especially bitter. Medium body, lightly resinous.

Feb 3, 2005 Orange coloured. Light hoppy aroma. Flavour of tea with some hoppiness and some bitterness in the finish. Dry and very light. Not impressive.

Jul 20, 2002 On tap at the Vermont Brewers’ Fest. Started out very promisingly; good red-orange color with decent head, awesome apricot/mango aroma; well-balanced flavor is not distinctive though, and it’s rather thin. Reasonably hoppy, I thought. A disappointment after the Hefe, but still ok all in all.

Dec 3, 2005 Cask (gravity dispense), at GBBF, August 2005. Orange colour. Sharp and hoppy but there’s not much else there. Lots of lemon. Very raw hop character with no balancing malt to speak of. Rather like chewing hop pellets. Short of finesse.
