Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a cloudy medium golden orange color with very little amount of tiny alabaster bubbles around the edges. Aroma is of robust fruits (blueberries?), light malts, spices (coriander?) and floral notes. Taste is of light malts, blueberries/fruit and floral notes. Light to medium bodied, smooth, will very low carbonation. Ending is of fruit and some floral notes.

12oz bottle: Pours a hazy orange with no real head, spicy blueberry aroma, thin bodied with solid carbonation, starts and ends lightly sweet with a berry ending.

Robe blonde très claire surmontée d’une mousse blanche mince qui s’estompe. Arômes d’épices et de bleuets. Saveurs légères de bleuets et de malt.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with ppoitras (thanks!). Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of mainly blueberry muffins. The blueberry aroma wasn’t bad. Tastes of blueberries and I was also getting a spicey finish. One dimensional, but drinkable for a fruit beer.

2006 bottle consumed on 5/24/06.
Pale yellow with a hint of copper, but also a tinge of dying grass (yellow-green). Small white head slowly fades to cover and ring, leaving light lacing. Tiny bubbles rise up in little pockets.
Pure, fresh blueberry essence in the nose is clean, crisp and not sweet. Certainly it takes front seat and drowns out, somewhat, the light base malt in the background. Almost smells like a slight tart/astringent blueberry skin note in the background, as well, when inhaled sharply. A bit of grassy, crisp, herbal hoppiness on the very end.
Taking a sip, the beer is crisp, with some lightly husky barley notes, dry and clean up front. The blueberry washes in to the palate and adds plenty of fruitiness, though dosent get too heavy. Tight carbonation, quite peppery, keeps things crisp, as a touch of residual malt sugar sweetens the finish. Grassy hops and perfumey blueberries linger on. Highly refreshing and drinkable without the astringency and/or meatiness that many blueberry beer succumb to.
