3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle:   Rye nose, a little hoppy but also a little sweet on the tongue.   Nice head and lacing.   Has a bit of that powdery sweetness, but its not terribly strong.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Somewhat sweet and hoppy finish, lingering rye and powdery sweetness.   Tiz okay.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy darker amber color with a moderate light tan head on it. Nose isn’t too strong on this one, unfortunately; I get some rye grains coming off it, but nothing that would suggest a name like "hop hammer". Taste is moderately bitter and quite dry, with a slight bit of carbonated feel to it. OK, but nothing special.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at sb. Pours a murky very dark amber. Scant little head. Big peppery rye and pine nose with a bit of caramel. Creamy medium body with light carb. Caramel, rye, and resiny pine mid palate with a long dry resiny finish.
