Waxed bomber from the brewery. Deep black with coffee crema colored head. Resinous hop nose. Solid black IPA. Bitter hop driven finish, some dark and sweeter malts as it warms.

22. Pours black with a loose and creamy dark tan film. Light eggy lace. Chocolate and light herbal hop on the nose. Creamy medium body with almost no carb. Roasty dark mid palate with some bittersweet chocolate and dark herbal hop finish.

Bottle: Nearly black with an inch of thick, creamy brown head. Lots of sheet lacing. Really a stunning appearance. Nose is ripe with hops, mostly floral, and a nice roasted malt base. The flavor of the hops is really amplified, but the roastiness keeps up nicely. This is big. And good.

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Black pour. Lots of roasted malts here. Hops are backseat. I taste coffee. Hops add nicely but play second fiddle. This works.

Black body with brown head. Tooty fruity columbian bud, dark chocolate, medium roast coffee aromas. Medium bodied. Fruity, pine hop flavors with dark chocolate, mildly astringent tobacco, nicely bitter finish--good smell, almost good flavor.

Nose is very roasty and full of dark chocolate, some butter, and some danky pine hops. Pours black, vicuous, tan head and lace. The flavor is rather roasty, some chocolate malts, buttery popcorn notes, and piney/floral. Slick smooth mouthfeel. More of a foreign stout territory in my opinion and with some slight diacetly. As my favorite rater WeeHeavySd would say, "meh".

Dark brown in color, clear wit ha thin head. Big hops aroma nice a fresh. Dark malt flavors mixed with the right hops this is a tasty beer. Love these Black IPAs. The flavors mix well and finish quite nice. This was my first from Paradise Creek they are going to be good.
