We captured the last fleeting days of summer. We stole it’s golden color. We coaxed the brilliance from the German Pilsen Malz. These Belgian specialty malts gently yielded their deep golden hues, like the Alpenglow on the Rockies in late summer. In the shadows of the Chardonnay Barrels, the Belgian yeasts plied their subtle, spicy, overtones while consuming the final morsels of Belgian Candi Sugar. This beer was christened Bandeau Artiste Trip upon emergence from its’ Wayward journey. With each sip--enjoy your voyeuristic glimpse into it’s "Trip".

750 ml swing top bottle poured a clear amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, vinous notes, toasted malt, light oak and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of oak, toasted malt, vinous notes and earthiness with a crisp dry lingering finish.

Falling Rock GABF 2012. Hazy honey gold with a small cap head. Nice aroma of funky fruit esters, honey, blonde maltiness and a touch of lavender. The flavor was nice and intricate, with a floral fruitiness that was citric and dusty and sweet, with some Belgian yeast eccentricity, honey, and pale blonde grains. Nice.

Sampled at the Colorado State Fair, Foam Fest ’12. Pour is slightly hazy, golden orange in appearance with a fluffy white head. Fruity, orange, banana, light, wood, and spice in the aroma. Taste is clove banana, white pepper, fruity esters, and citrus. The smell is much better than the taste. Light and crisp mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Solid belgian ale and pretty tasty stuff.

Sampled on 10/16/2012. Bottle 404 of 760. This Belgian Golden Ale pours a very slightly hazy light orange gold color from a 750ml swing top bottle. Medium sized white foamy head with nice lacing and good retention. The aroma is fruity, sweet, peaches, yeasty and a touch of wood. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, a little yeasty. The hops are herbal and earthy. Decent carbonation. Some peaches, some wood, and some yeast. Very smooth and excellently balanced. Nice barrel aged beer. Another hit it out of the park beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish si clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
