Not as sweet nor tart as I expected. Earthy, flat, and simplex. Not horrible but not outstanding.

Bottle 394 of 1200. Murky oxidized brown. Floating chunks that aren’t yeast. Earthy cherry, sweeter caramel malts. Light balsamic, earthy tart cherry, cloying sweet malt. Infected, but what do you expect? It’s Paradox..there is a reason they only do sours these days.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Swing top bomber. Pours dark ruby brown with almost zero head. Mild aroma of a brown sour and very ripe cherries. Weird beer. Kendra says it tastes like green olive juice. It does have sour ale notes, slight vinegar, hints of tannins, ripe cherries, tart berry and funk.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
750ml brown flip top bottle, #311/1200. Bottlehsare at Ferris’. Browish red, hazy with a light beige cap. The nose has cherries and vinegar and smells a bit off. Taste is woody and winey, some tartness. Woody finish with a vinegar and sour note and some puckering in the mouth. Tasted better than it smelled, but wasn’t a huge fan of this beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle shared by b3shine or brew3crew. Pours a dark caramel browncolor with a thin beige head. The aroma and flavor have an abundance of fruit; tart cherry, berries, musty grapes, vinous notes, with oak, caramel, fig and raisins. Hints of tannins. This is rather unique and a pleasant surprise at the tasting.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
750ml swingtop. According to phaleslu, this was shared by b3shine, bottle 334/1200. According to my notes, I loved it. Last pour from the bottle. Hazy brown / red color. Lots of particles of yeast. Nice thin off-white head. Dots and short ropes of lace. Robust, blackberry, raspberry, light dark chocolate aroma. Smooth, very light carbonation, kind of creamy. Lightly dry finish. Good bigger tart taste. Light to moderate sweet, nothing close to cloying. Had no idea going into it what this was supposed to be. But as a dark, malty sour... It’s pretty good

Aroma of plum, caramel, oak, cherry, and raisin - oakiness increases as it warms. Flavor of apple, berries, plum, caramel, oak, and wine. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, sweet mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Interesting beer, with a lot of fruits going on at once.
