750ml swingtop bottle #817/1200. Grapefruit citrus aroma with with a bit of hops and pine resins. Pours cloudy copper colored with an enormous off white head and a little bit of lacing. Smooth body with grapefruit notes as well as a hint of caramel. Finishes dry with some hoppy notes and pine notes with grapefruit acidity lingering in the palate. Good, flavorful pale ale.

Beaver (1338) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - FEB 22, 2014
750 ml bottle, number 353 out of 1200. Pours hazy reddish tan with a monstrous meringue like off-white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet cereal malts, tropical fruit and green resiny hops.

The flavor is creamy sweet malts, tropical fruits and a nice piney, resiny hop finish with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel medium bodied and slightly watery.

Overall, a nice IPA, good balance of sweet tropical fruits and hops. Maybe a little funk from barrels.
