3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pick a hop pack. 341ml, 6%abv. As the name says, it pours ruby, if not amber in color. The head is tight, and tan colored. It has good retention, and sticks to the glass. Subtle aroma with notes of molasses, and sweet citrus. The smooth base of pale, crystal, and victory malt is well complimented by the cascade hops. Medium carbonation
and some chewiness. Overall, smooth, satisfying, and a good example of a hop forward amber ale.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber colour with a cream coloured head. Caramel malt with a touch of fruit in the aroma. Taste is strong in caramel malts with some piney and fruity malts. Little bit of a bitter finish. Pretty solid amber ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of malts and hops. Probably the best amber IPA I have tried. Nice hops and not overwhelming malts - incredible balance.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at West Coast Brew Fest 2014. Pours copper with a white head. Light fruit/malt aromas. Med body, maybe. Flavor is roast malt with very little hop. Itís an amber. Good for an amber tho.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy dull amber, leafy, floral and light caramel aroma, a bit fizzy, but nice fruity, floral character. Kind of yeasty and muddled, though, tough to get through a full one.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours more garnet than ruby with thin head that leaves nice lacing. Good hop/malt balance -- mostly caramel and pine.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle to pint glass, beer pours a ruby red with a slightly off white foam top which fades fairly quickly and needed a lot of convincing to come out in the first place. Aroma is hop forward, grass, mint, cheese, slight pineyness...very faint biscuit. Meh. Taste again is more hop forward stuff but balances better with the malt and is accompanied by medicinal and slight spice. Palate is nice and crisp, thin bodied, co2 is on the low side. Balance is pretty good and the alcohol undetectable. Overall a decent beer, very drinkable but not one I think Iíll buy again as I find it a bit simple. However that may be one of itís advantages...it goes very well with food.

Tap, craft beer Hall. Mild Aroma, slightly less body than expected. Sharp caramel metallic flavour. Decent though.
