Don’t mind the flashes. This unique pale lager with big hop aroma and citrus kick tends to attract a lot of attention.

341 ml bottle from a sampler six-pack from Liquor Depot, served in a straight-sided goblet. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with abundant, pearly white froth that breaks up from inside like a lager, leaving lace patches, Nose is of sweet citrus and herbal hops, malt dangling in behind. This beer pours with such a gigantic head, it might be Christmas before I get to taste it. It looks moderately carbonated. On the tongue, there’s sweet and juicy citrus hops, with a nice touch of sourness at the end. Just a bit thick, and with a conclusion that’s just the right length. A little one-dimensional - I had expected more malt or greater depth of hops - but it’s still a great hop-hit.

Visual: Pours golden deep orange with a long-lasting decent-sized very foamy head, very sticky thick lacing, several slow streams. Nose: clean and direct orange-grapefruit citrus hopped malts. (lvl-6)-pungency Attack: crisp, incoming soft bitter hops Mid-palate: fizzy-tingly, (lvl-5)-sweetness, (MAIN) liquid barley malt, bread-toffee, light chamomile Finish: light burpy, soft grapefruit bitter hops, long lingering bitter finish. Summary: You got the liquid sweetness of a lager balanced very nicely with the bitterness of an IPA; Not harshly hopped, just enough to create a harmonious sippable balance.

In bottle (advent calendar); this one was not for me .. lots of citrus, and very heavy on the hops ... tried a few sips and poured, I would not buy again

Pours pale yellow gold. Foamy white head, good retention, some lacing. Aroma is resin, citrus and pine. Taste is sweet, malty, and faintly floral. Finishes bitter and astringent, lingering. Light body, average carbonation. Not bad, but lacks depth.

Bottle - Pale malts and some grass. Clear gold with a decent white head. Up front grassy and light citrus bitterness, finishes with a bit of biscuit. OK, but there is nothing really interesting here.
